Being Vegan in Italy

I had the pleasure of traveling to Italy this month and last month with a group of friends. Literally an experience of my life. Italy is so beautiful, and I’ve learned some authentic cooking tips from some of the residents there (I’ll be sure to share them when I am ready to eat pasta again haha). If you follow me on Instagram and watch my daily stories, you were able to see the time that we had. My friend Dave is so gifted at setting up these elaborate trips for decent pricing. He setup our trips to Mexico and Thailand, and each time they are ON POINT! If you need assistance with setting up an international trip, hit him up here on Instagram www.instagram.com/famousdave87. I promise, you won’t be disappointed. Check out our itinerary below.

Okay so here’s the good part. The food I ate while in Italy and as a vegan. There are several Vegan restaurants in Italy, however I didn’t have a chance to make it to any of them *facepalm, BUT I had the pleasure of having chefs create special dishes for me. What was even more cool is that I wore one of my Vegan Tees to one of the restaurants, and the chef acknowledged me as Vegan and created a special vegetable risotto meal without me even having to ask! I was feeling real special, LOL Check out the meals below. Also, please forgive me for not keeping track of the name of the restaurants. But no matter where we went, there was ALWAYS an option for me. You just have to let them know that you do not eat meat or dairy. You can also suggest what you want in your food ;).
